The Athenian General Pericles once declared “We do not say that a man who takes no interest in politics is a man who minds his own business, we say that he has no business here at all.” Everyone likes to complain about what goes on in politics but few do anything about it. This blog does both. It is a commentary on the travesties committed by politicians (in BOTH parties) and offers common sense solutions to today’s issues. I consider myself a Reagan Republican. I am conservative, yet I listen to all points of view before making a decision. You will not agree with everything said here. That’s fine. Debate is what it is all about. Finding common ground when possible, but also sticking to principle even when all others disagree.
